Time to Fetch A Sketch!

Here's the newest sketch I've designed for the Fetch A Sketch challenge blog...

We're being sponsored by Funky Hand this fortnight and there's an ace prize on offer! I'm not telling you what - you'll have to pop over to Fetch A Sketch to see! ;)

I've used some Funky Hand papers from the Happy Happy Birthday CD to make my card...

I don't think there's any need for me to explain how to make the flowers - we've all seen Kirstie do it on the tele! ;)  I've keep things simple on this card to make the flowers stand out & I've only added some simple pearl decoration.

We'd love for you to come and have a play with us over at Fetch A Sketch - we love seeing what you make!

I've been a bad blogger - just been super busy with Christmas, family stuff and a trip to Liverpool to see Macca live in concert! :)

Just had to pop in to tell you about this though...
Funky Hand. 50% off SALE.

Yes you read that right! 50%!!!  You'd be mad to miss it!

I shall be back tomorrow with a slightly later than planned (due to the festivities) new sketch for Fetch A Sketch.

Rockin' the Fetch A Sketch Challenge Take Two!

Here's another take on the Fetch A Sketch challenge.  You'll remember my Christmas card from last week using the newest sketch and this is the Birthday version...

I've gone for the same papers from HOTP & have again used the Hippy Rocker Guitar image from Bonibleaux Designs/Dude Time Doodles.  I've also used their Barbed Wire image and pieces of their Birthday sentiment (all printed on to Safemat).  Just a bit of doodling with black pen to finish.  I've enjoyed this sketch by Ruth, it's a fun one to play with, so make sure you come & join us over at the Fetch A Sketch blog

Rockin' the Fetch A Sketch Challenge!

It's new sketch time over at Fetch A SketchRuth is in charge this fortnight and has once again come up with a brilliant sketch...

Here's my 'rockin' card...

Complete with hand written song lyrics AND no mistakes! ;)  I've used the Hippy Rocker Guitar digi image from Bonibleaux Designs/Dude Time Doodles and coloured it with Promarkers.  This card is destined for my cousin who has a guitar just like it!  All the other elements are from a freebie Hot Of The Press paper pad I got from a magazine. The holly bit is actually a letter 'C' (with holly decoration) topper sneakily concealed behind the other circle! ;)

I hope you can come and join us over at Fetch A Sketch - we love seeing what you create!

Get Funky at Christmas & Beyond!

The challenge over at Get Funky this month has been to make a traditional Christmas project (using greens, reds & gold & silver etc) and a non Christmas project using some of your Christmas papers. I've made two Christmas cards using digi images & papers from the Twelve Crafters Crafting CD...

Heart bubble stickers by Paperchase.

My non Christmas project also uses Twelve Crafters Crafting...

For more details on my cards, some more inspired ideas from the rest of the Design Team & also all the details on how to enter the challenge please hop over to the Get Funky blog!

A Christmas Typewriter!

The Boyf wasn't too impressed with the use of the typewriter image on this card (or the one last week)..."a typewriter isn't exactly very Christmassy is it?"  I on the other hand thought it was quite cute and clever! ;)

This is my second offering for the Fetch A Sketch sketch I designed for this fortnight (you still have until Sunday 11th to enter)...

My card uses the aforementioned typewriter digi image from Tiddly Inks (manipulated to the right size in Digital Scrapbook Artist and with a sentiment added), ribbon by Love Elsie, robin stamp from my stash coloured with Promarkers and a snowflake stamp on the Kraft background stamped using 'Old Paper' Distress Ink (which is very hard to see in the photo!).  I just added a bit of doodling to finish!

I do hope you can come along and play with us at Fetch A Sketch!

I'd like to enter this for the Tiddly Inks challenge too!
