Autumnal Polka Doodles

It's time to get all Autumnal with your projects over at Polka Doodles this week...

I've made the birdhouse from the Spring section of Sundae of Seasons all Autumnal by colouring it with Henna, Bright Orange & Gold Promarkers.  The paper for the frame & the leaves also came from the same CD.  The little robin I used from the Festive Postbox stamp.  Remember you can get all of the products I've mentioned here.

Welcome New Baby

Enfys has set the challenge over at Polka Doodles this week & it's all about welcoming those new bundles of joy!

One of my favourite things about the Sundae of Seasons CD is the sentiments section, so I decided to make this the focal point of my card.  I added a bit of bling with some gemstones & red glitter to the heart...

And some piercing & faux stitching to the edges.  I made this card pretty flat so it's ideal for posting!

Hope you can join us in the challenge this week!

Something Polka Doodling Spooky!

Ruth's turn to set the challenge over at Polka Doodles this week...and she's asked us all to make...
Something Spoooooooky!

My three little cauldron table decorations are made from yogurt pots, one painted on the inside with black acrylic.  I've added wire handles and little brad feet, then decorated with elements from Sundae Of Seasons.  Apologies for the rubbish pictures. I just couldn't get any decent light today!
 Love this spooky house...

And these windswept trees...

Not sure this spider is that spooky...

Looking forward to seeing your spooktacular (groan) creations!

Embellishment Challenge

This week over at Polka Doodles it's time to make your own embellishments.  So for this challenge I decided to share with you a card that I made using the Baking/Gardening Time Template ...

My crafty card is embellished with a jar of bits & bobs...

And a shrink plastic charm made with the Floral Bridcage stamp...

A flower...

And finished off with a badge...

Hope you can play along with us this week!

Fancy Folding Polka Doodles Style.

Dee's turn to set the Polka Doodles challenge this week...
Fancy or Interesting Folding
Now for me this was tricky as I'm not really one for folded cards.  I started of going for some origami embellishments (something I've done before for jewellery making) & planned to put them on a plain old card but then thought I should jolly well challenge myself & make something I'd not tried before so here's the result...
All the papers are from the Sundae of Seasons CD.

Nikky's designs really do stand alone without much added embellishement but I felt this heart needed some micro beads...

Hope you can play along with us this week...oh & we didn't half struggle deciding on the winners for our Easel card challenge!  Find out if you've won here!
