Some Extra Sketch Inspiration!

I'm a little late posting this today so apologies if you've been over here looking for my Fetch A Sketch card when it wasn't here!

I've gone all spooky this time!

And here's a reminder of the sketch...

I've used elements from the Sundae of Seaons CD by Polkadoodles.  They're our sponsors for this challenge - head over here to see what prize is on offer! :)  Once again I've used some Divine Twine from The Ribbon Girl and I need to thank Ruth for the square sequins - thank you!

Thanks for stopping by & I hope you can come and play along with us over at Fetch A Sketch!

Greens and Browns.

Couldn't resist playing along with The Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge...

Bazzill card; Craftwork cards scallop square; K&Co frame; Funky Hand Alphabits; Heidi Grace Metal Dots; The Ribbon Girl Divine Twine.

Ok, I added in a touch of pink to the 'greens & browns' they asked for! ;)

The card has a top fold & I punched a hole so I could tie the Divine Twine around the card...

I used the punched out paper piece to make this embellishment...

The little bird leg made a cute little trunk for this metal dot tree! :) It made me happy!

What also made me happy was this!  My card (blogged about here) featured on The Ribbon Girl customer creations gallery!!! :)

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 7

Ruth's drawn an ace sketch again this week - you're going to want to play along with this one!  Here it is...

And here's my card...

I've used the pre-coloured tree images from the Sundae of Seasons CD by Polkadoodles; printed on to card, cut out & stuck on to the base card - some with glue, and some with 3d foam for dimension. The sentiment is a combination of words & snowflakes from Polkadoodles' Christmas Doodles stamp set - stamped in simple black with some added bits coloured with magenta Promarker! I've also doodled a few pink bits on each of the trees too!

If you enter Fetch A Sketch this fortnight you could win some fantastic prizes that have kindly been donated to us by Nikky of Polkadoodles!  Check out all the details on how to enter here!

Daring Cardmakers Candle Challenge.

Daring Cardmakers have teamed up with Funky Hand this week to set a challenge which is...

How many candles?

I thought this was a good chance to share one of the projects I made for the launch of Happy Happy Birthday!  It really is a fabulous CD & the rest of the Design Team & I just can't put it down!  I've used the pre-coloured image so this card really was a quick and easy one! I still can't get enough of using baker's twine either - thank you Ribbon Girl for such great service! :)

Funky Hand Birthday Fun Challenge!

So as promised I'm back with my make for the Get Funky challenge for this month.  I'm the host for the very first time and in honour of the brand new CD Happy Happy Birthday I've gone for...

Birthday Fun!!!

And for another first I've made a wordbook!

I thoroughly enjoyed making this & it was far easier than I had expected!  It is also very effective & has been much admired already!  I shall definitely be making a lot more of these!  I've used the Pressie Time collection from the Happy Happy Birthday CD...

- which you can see details of here and also today on Create and Craft TV at 9am & 4pm.

I just printed off each page in turn, then flipped them over & printed a coordinating patterned paper from the collection on the reverse - which as a bonus leaves you with some excellent extra scraps left over after you've cut out your pages! The pages are fixed together with twine & I've added lots of cut out stars to each page - which of course had to have a load of glitter added to make them extra sparkly! ;)

I do hope you can join in with this month's challenge! All the details on how to enter can be found here
