And everyone else remember to check in to the Polka Doodles Challenge blog to see if you've won the main prize or any of the other Design Team Candy.  I do hope you all had fun hopping along. :)

I thought I'd take this chance to share a Polka Doodles card with you.  This one was made way back in the summer...

I've used Fairy Flutterfly Babsie & coloured her with Gold & Silver Promarker pens before sitting her on top of a tree made from scraps of Polka Doodles papers.  I think she makes a rather cool Christmas Fairy!

Polka Doodles Night Before Christmas Challenge

It's all about Christmas for this week's Polka Doodles Challenge, taking inspiration for the Clement Moore Poem 'Twas the night before Christmas'...

"When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer."

I've used the pre-coloured sleigh from the Paper Boutique Creative Christmas CD & blinged it up with loads of glitter!  The spotty & snowflake papers are from the Sundae of Seasons CD.  I've also added some doodling with Silver Promarker pen which is a little hard to see in the pic.

Don't forget the blog hop is still running until Sunday, click here for the main post or scroll down for my post on it.

POLKA DOODLES BLOG HOP & Challenge Card.

So the big day has finally arrived....the start of the Polka Doodles Blog Hop!

But before I reveal the huge selection of goodies I have to give away I'd like to share with you my challenge project for this week.  The theme is the reason behind the blog hop...to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of our supporters & followers because you all really are fabulous...

I've decorated a box of chocs using elements from the Sundae of Seasons CD.  I've even left an aperture in the back of the box so you can see what the selection is...

And when I say 'you', it really could be you, as I'll be adding this box of chocs in with my blog hop winners parcel.

So if you're in the hop you should have arrived here from Emma's beautiful blog.  My letter is 'I' and your next stop is the ever so talented Ruth.  If you've joined the hop here you can find the full list of stops on the challenge site. If you collect all the letters, one from each stop on the blog hop, you should have a word which will entitle you to be in with a change of winning the prize on the main challenge blog & don't forget each stop on the way has extra candy to win too!  Speaking of which, would you like to win this little lot???

Papercraft Inspirations Flower Funky Hand Style.

Last week I mentioned the great templates from Papercraft Inspirations magazine in the post here.  Today I thought I'd show you what I made with their wonderful flower template...

I also thought I'd join in with the Get Funky Challenge which is Tag It!  All the papers you can see on my tag were from the fab download 'All I want for Xmas'.  As you can see these papers are not just for Christmas!

Here's the flower from the side...

The template is for the petal so you can build up as many petals as you like & I've stapled mine together. All that was needed then was some Q&Co felt ribbon, some K&Co ribbon, a leaf pin & a tiny Paperchase heart sticker.

Quick Polka Doodles Christmas Cards

It's my turn setting the challenge over at Polka Doodles this week & I've gone for...

Quick & Easy Christmas Card

I'm a last minute Christmas card maker.  It doesn't matter how hard I try to do them in advance I'm always rushing at the last minute.  So that means I have to make things quick & simple. But I don't want to compromise on style.  So I'm looking for some ideas for mass-producing.  The design team have already given me some ace inspiration.  Check out what they've come up with here. And I can't wait to get hopping around the entries for some more brilliant ideas!

Of course I too had to make my own Design Team entry so that's at least 3 cards done early!  Here's what I made...

The trees & the snowflake come on a sheet of multiple designs on the Sundae of Seasons CD so they're ace for mass-producing & I've simply layered them on to a circle of snowflake paper in various positions...

All that was needed then was a bit of bling...

And before I go... Polka Doodles now stock EAST OF INDIA RIBBONS!!!  Check them out here.  I'm not aware of any other craft company stocking them & you can get them by the metre as well as on a reel.  How ace is that!!
