Make It Sparkle!

Just popping in to share a super quick Christmas card with you...

The tree card template is on the Funky Hand CD Twelve Crafters Crafting and you just have to pick the patterned paper you want to have the trees appear in and then print!  I choose some spotty red paper, printed on to water colour card & then have sparkled it all up with some silver glitter....perfect for the challenge over at Chrimbo Crackers at the moment! :)

Superstar Sketch!

It's the midway point of sketch 11 over at Fetch A Sketch.  You'll remember that Ruth has given us a 'star' of a sketch to play with...


And here's my card...

I've used the cute super boy image from The Digi Garden coloured with Promarkers.  The papers are from my stash, the green baker's twine is from The Ribbon Girl, the kraft card base is Papermania and the sentiment is Funky Hand.  Remember the winner of challenge 11 wins 5 digi's from The Digi Garden!!!

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 11

How are we possibly on to challenge 11 already?!!  I don't know, but we are! :)  Ruth has come up with a cracker of a sketch this time...

And here's my card...

I've used the cute little fairy image from our sponsors for this fortnight...

The image & sentiment are coloured with Promarkers. The spotty paper & sentiment are by Funky Hand & I drew the star free hand & cut it out before inking it with Distress Ink.  I have to apologise about the grainy picture...I just can't get used to taking pictures in artificial light!

A partridge, a few pears & a tree!

It's time for me to share my Get Funky card with you.  I'm the last Funkette to share my Autumnal project this month, but there's still time to enter.  You can find all the details here!  Here's my card....

I've used a basic brown card base, some floral paper from the Tea's Up! download, and the image is from the Twelve Crafters Crafting CD.  I printed the image on to water colour card & inked the background with Spiced Marmalade & Walnut Stain Distress Inks.  The image itself is coloured with Promarkers.  Just a few of the usual embellishments to finish....thread, button, leaf pin.  And not forgetting my favourite Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher staples! 

Three Tags.

Continuing the Christmas theme, here's some tags I made using the Twelve Crafters Crafting CD by Funky Hand...

The CD has a tag template so you just have to select the paper you want and layer the images on too, print off & cut out!  I also printed off another set of the coloured images so that I could layer them up with 3d foam.  The words were created in the Papercraft Factory system too!

One Crafter Crafting!

So previously I mentioned that I'd been working on samples for the new Funky Hand CD called Twelve Crafters Crafting - the CD was live on Create & Craft TV today so I thought I'd take the next few blog posts to share a few of the samples.  Today's offering is my 3rd ever wordbook...

You may remember from the sneak peeks the design team did on the blog hop, that we all had one of the twelve paper collections to work with.  The collection I had was 'All I want' and I've made the wordbook using this.  Each page is decorated differently...

That cute little rudolph is on the CD too! (Please note: the rudolph on the CD has legs... I had a little accident with some scissors on my poor little chap!)

One of my favourite papers on the CD is the one with all the Christmas words...

And you can print it in any of the twelve colour collections too! 

I've included a note to Santa...

And left a space for my crafty wish list! ;)

Fetch A Sketch Snowflake Make.

It's time for another Fetch A Sketch card! As you know we're using my sketch this fortnight (Ruth and I alternate who draws the sketch).  Here's a reminder of it...

And here's my card for this week...


I've gone with a pretty straight forward interpretation of the sketch this time.  The snowflake is from the paper set by Delicious Doodles which you can find here. The mini snowflake is metal and is fastened with a mini brad.  The heart brad in the centre of the snowflake is by Queen & Co. The card base is a handmade paper one, courtesy of Ruth....thank you!
