Clean & Simple

My first entry into the CAS-tastic challenge...

CAS means "clean & simple" & this weeks challenge was to make a one layered card.  My card is one of those tiny 4"x4" ones & I've used American Crafts Rub-ons.  All that was needed then was some little bits of doodling on the birdcage.

Shine!

The challenge over at Polkadoodles this week has been to design a card with "dimension & texture" using their fabulous freebie download. Here's what I came up with....

The striped paper & circles are from the freebie kit & I just added in some Design House Images, a Crate Paper die-cut sentiment, some ribbon, some silver textured card & some bling!  All popped up on various levels of 3d foam...

And how lovely to be able to take the pics outside in the glorious sunshine! :)

Ribbon Flower Birthday.

It's Allsorts 1st Birthday & I made this card to celebrate with them...

Craftwork Cards card; Imaginisce spotty paper; Crate Paper Die-cut; Autumn Leaves rub-on; MOD brad; Fancy Pants pin; Bazzill Just The Edge strips.

The ribbon flower was made after being inspired by the wonderful tutorial here

Just some simple stitching can leave you with this...

Finished off with a brad, & attached to the card with a pop-up glue dot...so easy!

Happy Birthday Allsorts!

What?! white space???

A card with some white "untouched" space!  Shocker!  As a cardmaker I love to fill my cards with all the wonderful products there are out there, using as many different techniques as possible, but I have to confess I'd much rather receive something much more plain & simple.. ssh...don't tell anyone. ;)  With that in mind, I once again tried to leave some of  a card blank untouched....

Bazzill Just the Edge; Colorbok Metal Dots; Basic Grey Rub-ons; Pebbles Inc Flower stickers; card & Doily inked with Tim Holtz distress Ink; Staples.
