Fetch A Sketch Midway Extra

It's time for a bit more Fetch A Sketch!

This is the card I've made for our midway extra post that we do between new sketches.  You'll remember that Ruth & I have challenged each other to use a different Cosmo Cricket digi download paper pack this fortnight.  Ruth's pick is this week and she chose 'Circa 1934' so we've been having a play with that download with the sketch...

I rotated the sketch for my card and used a circle punch to punch out the letters.  The floral embellishments are all layered up under the words & I've added some teeny tiny brads by Queen & Co.

We've had fun doing something a little different for this challenge and we also hope you've been enjoying using the sketch!  See you over at Fetch A Sketch!

Flying High with Funky Hand!

It's time for me to share my Get Funky challenge card with you...

This month's challenge is all about things that fly - so that birds, butterflies, planes etc etc!  I've used the butterfly digi image from the 'Flutterby Flowers' download combined with some funky heart paper from the 'I Heart You' download.  I've added some gorgeous lace ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, some Paperchase heart stickers and some Queen & Co tiny brads.  I've glued the butterfly just along the spine so that the wings pop up...

I hope you can play along with us over at Get Funky this month - I always look forward to seeing what you all create!

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 18.

It's new challenge time over at Fetch A Sketch and it's my turn to share a sketch with you...

This fortnight Ruth & I have done something a little different & have challenged each other to use some papers from some digital download packs.  We are both big fans of digital download paper packs (we usually get ours from the Jessica Sprague website) and so we decided to challenge each other to use a different Cosmo Cricket paper pack along with the sketch.  I chose the Early Bird paper pack and this is what we are using this week...

The papers are so gorgeous on their own I didn't feel they needed much more embellishing than a few tiny brads.  The flower is cut from one of the papers too & I've decoupaged it slightly - popping out the centre circle on 3d foam.

The winner of this fortnight's challenge will win a selection of papers printed from the downloads we've used so it's well worth getting involved! I hope to see you over at Fetch A Sketch!

Little Boy Blue!

I've made another card using our current sketch at Fetch A Sketch.  Here's my card...

And here's a reminder of the sketch...

I've used an image from The Digi Garden and coloured it with Promarkers.  The background paper is the packaging from some bling from Poundland, with some bling added to it!

I've had fun using Ruth's sketch this fortnight - I hope to see you over at Fetch A Sketch playing along with us too!

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 17!

It's new sketch time over at Fetch A Sketch again!  It's Ruth's turn to host this fortnight and she's come up with a great sketch...

And here's my card...

I think that I might have been a bit inspired by the weather we've been having here in the UK!

The image is by The Digi Garden & I've coloured it with Promarkers. The lovely tree paper is by Funky Hand. The bling is from Poundland and so I thought it was ok to get a bit carried away with it! ;)

I hope you can come and play along with us over at Fetch A Sketch!
