Polka Doodles Colouring Sketch

Apologies as I'm a bit late sharing my Polka Doodles card this week! This time the challenge is to follow a sketch (see below) as well as including a coloured image.  All the details can be found on the challenge blog.

I've made another 8"x8" card & used papers from the Sundae of Seasons & the Creative Christmas CD's.  The Festive Postbox stamped image is coloured with Aquamarkers.  The swirl is actually the bottom of the sleigh image from Creative Christmas which is where the little tag came from too! Lastly I've embellished with Polka Doodles Dewdrops & black Promarker faux stitching.  Remember all products can be found in the Polka Doodles shop.

***There's still loads of time to enter my candy giveaway just click the image in the sidebar or scroll down to find the post.***

Polka Doodles Age Related Birthday Card

I've made a little 4"x4" card for this week's challenge.  Suitable for teenagers of both sexes, I think. The 'Birthday' sentiment came from the Back to Nature CD & everything else can be found on Sundae of Seasons. I then just added in some Doodlebug stickers & rub-ons, ribbon & staples to finish.

Polka Doodles project to hold a gift.

Here's my little project for this week's challenge. I've made the tiny takeout box from the Creative Christmas CD in kraft card & decorated it with birds & punched scalloped circles made from paper from the Love & Cherish CD.  Because my little robins were pre-coloured pink I've made the whole thing pink & girlie & coloured my stamped poinsettias from the Crimbo Doodles Set in Magenta Promarker. The back of the box is a mirror image of the front.  It's all ready to be filled with a gift & hung on the tree!

Autumn Swap Goodies.

So ages ago (back in Oct!!!) I participated in Relyn's Autumn themed swap & I thought it about time I shared with you what I received.  I was very lucky to get paired with Patti... please take the time to look at her wonderful blog, that girl writes some beautiful poetry! Anyway...I really enjoyed making & buying for her.  You can see what I sent her here.  And imagine my excitement when this big 12"x12" box arrived!!!

Filled to the brim with stash...

There was so much in there!!!  And all tailored to the 'likes' I'd told Patti about.  I'll let the pics do the talking...

And how STUNNING are these!!!  I adore that little leaf charm!

And she'd made this beautiful card set too...

And as if that wasn't enough, this awesome card & tag bookmark...

Such a talented lady!  And I'm so happy to have found a new friend from accross the pond!  THANK YOU sooooo much Patti! :)

It's all about the sentiment...

...over at Polka Doodles this week.

My card uses two of the new stamp sets.  I've created my own backing paper by stamping the dandelion stamp from the Garden Neighbours Stamp Sheet onto paper from the Love And Cherish CD in black ink. The sentiment & frame are from the Sensational Sentiments Stamp Sheet & have been stamped in black onto white card along with another dandelion & then all have been coloured with different shades of pink Promarkers.
