Pillow Box for Pink Petticoat.

Liz over at Pink Petticoat set another great challenge this month which was to make a Pillow Box using her wonderful products.

Now this one proved to be more of a challenge than expected as my printer stopped working just as I wanted to print some of her lovely designs! So I had to piece together something with some of the bits & pieces I had left over from other Pink Petticoat projects. So even though this is totally different to the Christmas themed box I had planned, it turned out to be quite cute!

The cute car images were coloured with Sakura Glitter pens & the wheels were cut from the spotty paper. The only other additions were Craftwork Cards' blue card & Bazzill "Just The Edge" Strips.

I also made a couple of cards with some more Pink Petticoat paper & a Stamping Bella stamp I recently won in a magazine giveaway...

Winter Wonderland.

A couple of Christmas cards to share today using Carol's sketch #17.

The first card I made following the sketch as it is...

Core'dinations Card; Pebbles Inc Cardstock Stickers; Bazzill "Just The Edge" Cardstock Strips.

For the second card I flipped the sketch upside down...

Core'dinations card; MAMBI Photo Sleeve; Pebbles Inc Cardstock Stickers; Bazzill "Just the Edge" Cardstock Stickers.

I made these ages ago, intending to enter them in the challenge, but I totally forgot! Hopefully I'll be better at entering on time when the new challenges start in the New Year!

And Now For Something Completely Different...

...and not at all Halloween related! Some Birthday cards made in October which are now safely with the recipients. A Karate themed one...

I made the mini Karate suit with felt and a few stiches and the nunchucks are made from rolled up paper & jewellery chain.

And a Star Wars themed one...

These motifs are Imperial Cogs cut out from card with a craft knife (which was very fiddly to do!) then all layered up onto different coloured card...Star Wars meets Pop Art!
