All White.

Craftwork Cards snowflake; Papermania felt ribbon; Dovecraft Jewel brad.

This card was inspired by a challenge on Daring Cardmakers from a few weeks ago. The all white theme was hard to stick to! I went for a simple & quick design to aid mass production!

Say it in Sepia

I've been intending to join in with Daring Cardmakers for a while now. They always have such original challenges! This weeks dare is "Say it in Sepia" with the following instructions from Lynda...

"I've been sorting through some "Old" family photographs with the intention of Scrapbooking them and I just love the Sepia ones. So I thought it would be nice to see a "Thank You" card made using "sepia" tones. So that's just brown/white or brown/cream depending on your card base colour. . We will all be needing "Thank You" cards after Christmas so that's why I chose that sentiment just to help us all get started. "

And here's what I made...

LLB Vennaisance paper; Craftwork Cards Scallop Oval; MM Button & ribbon; Doodlebug Mini's Heart Stamp; DCWV Old World ribbon; docrafts embroidered star; animal print fabric from a MAMBI sticker; K&Co Thank you sticker; Love Elsie cardstock stickers.

Inked with Brilliance Graphite Black, Tim Holtz Walnut Stain & Versa Magic Sahara Sand chalk ink.

Pillow Box for Pink Petticoat.

Liz over at Pink Petticoat set another great challenge this month which was to make a Pillow Box using her wonderful products.

Now this one proved to be more of a challenge than expected as my printer stopped working just as I wanted to print some of her lovely designs! So I had to piece together something with some of the bits & pieces I had left over from other Pink Petticoat projects. So even though this is totally different to the Christmas themed box I had planned, it turned out to be quite cute!

The cute car images were coloured with Sakura Glitter pens & the wheels were cut from the spotty paper. The only other additions were Craftwork Cards' blue card & Bazzill "Just The Edge" Strips.

I also made a couple of cards with some more Pink Petticoat paper & a Stamping Bella stamp I recently won in a magazine giveaway...

And a Star Wars themed one...

These motifs are Imperial Cogs cut out from card with a craft knife (which was very fiddly to do!) then all layered up onto different coloured card...Star Wars meets Pop Art!

Quick and Simple.

Sometimes the cards that take 5 minutes turn out to be sooooo much better than the ones you labour over for hours! This was a "need to get it in the post quick" card which turned out so much better than expected!

Craftwork Cards card, Imaginisce paper, Heidi Grace sticker.

You may also have noticed my new fancy title! Brilliantly designed by a very good friend of mine. You know who you are and you know how grateful I am for your computer skills! Genius!

Paper Necklace & Bracelet.

I made this jewellery set sometime last year, but as a lot of Craft Magazines seem to have paper bead projects at the moment, I thought this would be a good time to share it with you!

The beads are made with some Joanna Sheen Paisley paper, rolled and sealed with Glossy Accents. All that's needed then is some organza ribbon...simple!

I was inspired to make it by the wonderful Lupin and her lovely felty makes! She sells some lovely soft felt too...make sure you check out her shops (links on her blog).

Sweet Wishes for Pink Petticoat.

Here's my entry for Liz's challenge over on Pink Petticoat. The challenge was to make one of these little gift pouches (instructions over on Liz's blog). I used paper from the "Just An Old Fashioned Girl" CD and one of her delicious Sweet Sundae images. Coloured with glitter gel pens and embellished with felt. Oh, and the lovely little flower pin was from the website of the very talented Laura over at the Bugs and Fishes blog.
