A piece of "art" to share with you today...

Made with some paper scraps stuck onto a canvas box frame.  The edges are painted with acrylic copper paint, which I probably should have done BEFORE sticking the paper pieces on to make the process easier, but I didn't plan ahead...oh well...

A cute card today, using a Sarah Kay stamp.  Her images always remind me of the cards that I used to get as a child...

The image is coloured with Twinkling H20's & you'll notice that I did a bit more sewing too!

Another more time consuming card to share with you today.  Lots of fiddly beading to make the black flowers, some stamping, paper tearing & some simple stitching...

Fearless?

My 2010 cards have thus far been quite simple in design, so I thought I'd get making a more complicated & time consuming card. So I stamped (fire design on the patterned paper, under the Fearless sign, & the badge design), used my Big Bite, used up an acrylic frame I've had in my stash for a while, & I even got the sewing machine out!

Hello 2010!

A few New Year inspired cards...

Both of these cards were made with my first ever Stampin' Up papers, combined with some DCWV stickers & a few extras (MM Shimmer Alpha; Craftwork Cards Spotty paper, scalloped oval & Candy; Papermania heart shapes to make the scallops; Love Elsie Ribbon)

I won the SU papers over on Carol's blog. She's a Stampin' Up Demonstrator & makes some fab samples! I loved her ideas (& the papers!) so much I signed up for one of her Stamper's 10 Groups so you'll be seeing a lot more SU products on here in the future months!
